Durango, Colorado has great rafting within the city limits.
This year the water will be pretty low, with a peak around 3,000 cubic feet per second, if we are lucky
At high water, above 2500 CFS commercial boats will flip and the rafting can be intense. At low water, below 700 CFS the rafting can be fun for families with young kids who are looking for a really mellow experience. Low water typically starts around the end of June and last the remainder of the summer
